A Little Donkey, a Little Thomas

If you find yourself, like me, remembering The Nothing Girl and thinking fondly of Thomas, Little Donkey will be a happy and nostalgic read, a chance to revisit beloved characters (both two- and four-legged!), and a longed-for update on the evolution of Jenny Dove -- one of the more endearing contemporary characters to grace my Kindle this year.

Now One of My Favorite Authors

This is a sweet story but first be sure to read The Nothing Girl so you know where the donkey comes from. These stories are perfectly written and this story and The Nothing Girl are totally different from the other books I've read by Jodi Taylor. I like her style and would read everything she has written or will write. Get her books.

A Great Story--Not a Children's Story

I was aware of the short story for a while before I bought it. My first impression from the cover and short description was that it was a story for young -or very young-people. Finally, after I had read everything else by Jodi Taylor, I broke down and bought "The Nothing Girl" and "The Little Donkey."
I am so glad I did!
I now have them in both Kindle and Audible form.
This charming short story is a lovely addition to the story of Russell and Jenny from "The Nothing Girl." It is perhaps best understood if you read "The Nothing Girl" first. Otherwise you might just be a bit confused by the references to and, finally, the brief appearance of Thomas.
Love this story in both formats. It is a quick, satisfying, amusing and sometime laugh-out-loud read, and the Audible narrator does an excellent job of bringing it all to life.
