Excellent intro to SQL

I learned SQL 25 years ago. i wish this book had existed then, instead of the expensive, hard to understand computer books that existed back then. I also bought Mike McGrath's PHP/Mysql and Python books.

Excellent book for those new to SQL

1. Easy to follow along and explains everything in simple language

2. Illustrated with the queries and outputs from MySQL (both Windows and Linux) so you don't get lost

3. Doesn't waste your time with necessary crap, explaining only what's important

4. The book comes with data and scripts so that you can follow along every step of the way

I am extremely happy that I learned the basic of SQL with this book. Highly recommended to those with little previous programming experience. Fast and insightful learning experience.

According to Luisa’s revelations, although God created us without us, he cannot save us without us. Therefore, he reveals himself to Luisa so that through her, we may come to know the loving gift he has prepared for us – the gift that will restore us to the holiness that Adam and Even enjoyed in Eden, and that will set all creation free. St. Paul affirms that “all creation groans with eager longings, waiting to be set free from its slavery to corruption and enjoy the glorious freedom of the sons of God,” and God tells Luisa that those who live in the Divine Will will be those sons of God who set creation free.

Very deep insights in the writings of Luisa Piccarreta, whose cause of beatification is presently processed on the vatican level. Father Iannuzzi investigated Luisa's writings in the context of catholic tradition. He got an Imprimatur for the publication of his dissertation. It's level is understandable not only for theologians but as well for laity. Why does Amazon offer this definitive book only as kindle-edition? When will we find the printversion in it's range of books? (Please, excuse my faults in diction, my native language is german)

Reliable, orthodox, scholarly overview of Luisa PIcarretta's revelations

I have not finished this yet, but would strongly recommend it to anyone with good theological knowledge. The Gift of Living in the Divine Will is the pinnacle of God's plan of salvation in this world; it is imperative that we spread it. Everything in this book is safe and orthodox.

This book, by contrast, portrays the everyday life of May Fourth activists in Wuhan in cultural-political societies founded by local teacher and journalist Yun Daiying (1895-1931). The book examines the ways by which radical politics developed in hinterland urban centers, from there into a nation wide movement, which ultimately provided the basis for the emergence of mass political parties, namely the Nationalist Party (Guomindang) and the Chinese Communist Party (CCP).
The book's focus on organizations, everyday life, and social networks provides a novel interpretation of where mechanisms of historical change are located. The book also highlights the importance of print culture in the provinces. It demonstrates how provincial print-culture combined with small, local organizations to create a political movement. The vantage point of Wuhan demonstrates that May Fourth radicalism developed in a dialogue between the coastal metropoles of Beijing and Shanghai and hinterland urban centers.
The book therefore charts the way in which seeds of political change grew from individuals, through local organizations into a nation-wide movement, and finally into mass-party politics and subsequently revolution. The book thus connects everyday experiences of activists with the cultural-political ferment which gave rise to both the Chinese Communist party and the Nationalist Party.

Useful but a little dated

This book delivers a good perspective on how LCA fits into latent variable modeling in general and on the basics of LCA's mathematical scheme which were insightful. The computer-based examples are quite dated and aren't likely to allow the reader to put down the book and do an LCA right after reading (at least if you're using a latent variable modeling program; e.g., Mplus, etc...)

This solutions guide has way too many errors to be beneficial. My professor has actually started a special page on his website to post the numerous errors in this study guide as he finds them. Too expensive to have so many errors. It is as if they had high school students check the accuracy of the problems. With so many errors throughout the book you cannot trust any of them are really guiding you in the right direction, so the book is useless.
