Clear instructions but mundane jewelry

I ordered this book because I wanted clear step by step photos of the bead crochet process. That it does. But you can obtain the information online or from less expensive beading magazines. I thought I'd be getting an in depth view of this wonderful craft--like info on how to string beads to create patterns.

When I tried to return the book I found that the seller (though the book is from the US) is in Great Britain! They are called "The Book Depository." This is the response I got when I emailed them:
"We are an online seller so for us items are not being held on site and the information we have been given doesn't give much more details regarding the contents of this items we sell. I am very sorry we could not be of more help."

They did eventually refund my money.

Fantastic Fun for your child and you!

We love to read this book over and over again! The hilarious pictures result in added comments. My son is able to put himself in Little Critter's spot and loves the part about the "furcut". Once again Gina and Mercer Mayer give us a wonderful book to share with our children!

Not our favorite Little Critter book.

Mercer and Gina Mayer, This Is My Body (Golden Press, 1993)

We have now gotten to the point where we've read enough Little Critter books that I can generalize that I'm not as fond of the ones Gina co-wrote as I am of Mercer's solo outings. This Is My Body is probably the best of those we've read, but it's still a cut below most of the solo books. Critter talks up some of the parts of his body, mostly facial features, plus arms and legs, and relates them to the family. There's some amusement value to be had in Critter's antics, as usual, but by the time a child is ready for the Critter books, you've probably covered this ground in any number of other books aimed at slightly younger readers. ** ½

This book is written well, making it easy to read and understand. The tests covered in it are explained in detail. I wish more tests were included; there are some basics left out. This is a good place for someone to start if they are looking into clinical assessment.
